You are: HOME > E 85

E85 fuel is a clean burning gasoline created by fermenting and distilling crops that have been converted into simple sugars, typically from corn. This fuel is renewable, domestically produced, and environmentally friendly. However, NOT ALL VEHICLES CAN USE E85 ETHANOL FUEL . To determine if your vehicle can run on E85 fuel, please check your vehicle manual to see if your vehicle is E85 fuel compatible or if it can be fueled with a level of 85% Ethanol. An online source available to help you verify whether your car is E85 compatible is the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition at http://www.e85fuel.com.

* Beginning with the model year 1999, an increasing number of vehicles in the world are manufactured with engines which can run on any gasoline from 0% ethanol up to 85% ethanol without modification.

To see if your vehicle can run on E-85, check to see if E-85 is indicated on the inside of the fuel door as well as in the owner's manual under "Fuel".
